Delete your Cardiki account
You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. You might want to export your journal first: in the app, open Settings and choose Download my data.
In the app
- Open Cardiki on your phone or at cardiki.com/app.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
On the web, without the app
If your account is linked to an email address, Apple or Google, sign in here with that email. We will send you a sign-in link, and once you follow it you will go straight to the delete step.
If you never linked an email, your account exists only on your device. Delete it from Settings in the app, or uninstall the app and write to support@cardiki.com and we will help.
What happens when you delete
- An account that was never linked to an email, Apple or Google is erased immediately.
- A linked account is locked straight away and erased within 30 days, including readings, journal entries, mood tags and insights. If you sign in again during those 30 days, the account is restored.
- Backups that contain your data are purged within 90 days.
- Some billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it there first so you are not charged again.
